Once couples are in the door, I want to make sure my process (and the designs that go along with it) are as seamless and polished as possible.
This is where I nurture and guide couples, and show how I go the extra mile for them. And cohesively designed materials carry a lot of that weight.
Proposals and Quotes
I use an online client management system (Dubsado) to make my clients’ lives easier. 99% of the things I send them are through this platform, including contracts, invoices, and proposals/quotes. For now, I’ll show the latter.
One of the amazing things about Dubsado is that you can custom code your forms to make them seamless with your website and brand. I’ve taken the time to do that, so when leads look at their quotes, it feels immersive and familiar.
Here’s a bit of what they see when I send them a quote:

Project Calendars
When clients book with me, the first thing I do is create a project calendar for them, with important dates and deadlines marked. The calendars are also customized with their names in calligraphy up top for a bit of a personal touch.

Digital Proofs
Digital proofs are how we revise and approve invitation designs with clients. Because of that, it’s especially important that information is clear, accessible, and readable.
I use a simple Illustrator mockup to display their design on graphic versions of different papers, printing, and embellishments. The photos are sent through a sub-agreement in Dubsado, with places to write changes and visions, and for the client to sign when the design is ready for print!

Other Work for Caitlin O’Bryant Design
The client process is just a small sliver of the design work that goes into a creative small business. I’ve included some of the pieces I’ve designed for Caitlin O’Bryant Design on the other portfolio pages below.
